Princess Mononoke WIP

Studio Ghibli has to be one of my favourite animation studio's. Studio Ghibli have producer many brilliant films now mostly directed by Hayao Miyazaki, but the best of the bunch has to be Princess Mononoke.

If you haven't seen it then consider yourself missing out.

So this has been the inspiration behind my current pair which I'm working on atm.

Marvel Heroes Vs Villains

I've always been a massive Marvel fan, so working on this pair was a pleasure. This is definately my most detailed pair so far.

Simple concept....... one shoe heroes, one shoe villains.

That Special Someone!

These are my second pair of custom painted shoes. They were a special gift for my girlfriend, based from a digital painting I did for her one year. She had always wanted the same design on a pair of converse. It suddenly dawned on me that I should just do them myself.

So here they are.....

No need to be Koi....

So........my first attempt at painting on canvas shoes. Being a fan of Japanese culture, it felt right to choose the idea of painting Koi Carps, I just love the symbolism, and the visual aspects they can bring. It also gave me a chance to explore different colours and tones…what do you think? alright for an experiment?!
